Are you a skilled WordPress developer with CSS, HTML and Javascript knowledge? Do you like translating UX ideas from a team of designers and assembling it with code and CMS skills to build an amazing experience for multiple audiences? If so, the Partnership’s Junior WordPress Developer role might be right for you. In this role, you’ll work closely with a talented team of designers, content creators and digital marketers to create enriching user experiences across a multitude of websites. Understanding the entire web development process from development to launch, including design, content creation, development and deployment, with backend knowledge is key to this role.

The Junior WordPress Developer will work as part of an interdisciplinary communications team of marketing, graphic design, social media, editorial, media, and events staff, and as a result should be able to collaborate with others and contribute ideas. This person will also work closely with other Partnership teams and must be able to manage relationships and lead assigned projects from start to finish.


*Works with the web and design team to design, develop and maintain eight websites in WordPress.
*Manages all major website coding updates and deployments of new webpages and sites.
*Designs and implements new ways to visualize data across our web properties.
*Manages a group of CMS operators to keep websites current day-to-day.
*Works with the design team to translate UX updates into functioning webpages.
*Ensures all deliverables are adequately tested prior to release.
*Troubleshoots, diagnoses and resolves web bugs and issues.
*Collaborates, builds consensus and works constructively with project teams across all phases of development cycles.
*Develops technical briefs and manage production timelines.
*Stays informed of industry best practices.
*Manages multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, under various deadline
