Job Description
We are a fast-growing full-service marketing, web, and design agency. We are looking for a well-rounded, full-stack WordPress web developer to join our growing team! This position is a department-head position and will be responsible for developing high-functioning, beautiful, clean websites for our clients as well as training and growing a team of developers. This is a tremendous opportunity for the right candidate!

This position is currently remote, although that could change in the future.

As the manager of our web department, you will work with our clients on all things web design/development-related, from the development of fully custom WordPress websites, small updates, SEO, plugin implementation, various theme builder customization(s) and implementation, and more.

The ideal candidate will be a full-stack WordPress developer with experience in both the development and design of new websites, landing pages, etc. We are looking for someone that is ready to hit the ground running and take on client projects immediately with no training needed. We are a young company that is growing quickly! This means that we are building processes as we go, and we need a person in this role who can help us to build this department out into both a profit-generating department, but also one that continues to provide our clients with excellent products and service! Strong communication, project management, and team-building skills are a MUST!!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Interface with clients & our team on a daily basis
Designing and Building custom WordPress themes and plugins (additional CMS experience is welcomed!!)
Create and update re-usable code libraries to streamline the WordPress development cycle
Support, extend and/or enhance existing code
Evaluate designs, wireframes, and other deliverables during the design phase for potential development issues and flag problems appropriately
Creating and maintaining customized themes and plugins.
Contributing to the development and advancement of our internal WP framework.
Migrating websites from the development server to the live server.
Managing reseller hosting account and DNS
Pulling Google Analytics Reports and garnering insights for improvement and client offers.
Provide technical consultancy services to clients
Other duties as required
DESIRED SKILLSET:

6+ Years’ experience w/ WordPress Theme + Plugin Development
Expert understanding of modern PHP, JavaScript/jQuery, HTML, CSS, MySQL, and Git.
Experience with front-end frameworks (Bootstrap, CSS Grid, etc.)
Experience with Gulp and other workflow automation tools
Experience with GitHub + GitLabs
Experience with basic on-page SEO and Yoast Plugin
Experience with various CRMS is a plus (HubSpot, SharpSpringm, etc.)
A self-guided learner with strong, persistent problem-solving skills
UI/UX Understanding and experience
Adobe XD Experience (mockups and collaboration with design)
Strong Team Building Skills
Strong Project Management Skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interact with a wide range of individuals.
Ability to work independently and foster a cooperative spirit within a small team, while working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and frequently changing priorities.
Strong SEO Skills and understanding of search engine optimization and SERP ratings
WORK SCHEDULE & LOCATION:

40 hrs. per week, Mon-Friday, remote (we may open an office in the south Puget Sound area (south of Renton, Wa) late 2021 so this is subject to change.
COMPENSATION:

65K – 80K Salary (Depending on Experience)
Profit-Sharing + Bonus Programs Available for the right candidate
Unlimited paid time off (when submitted and approved) after 90 days of full-time employment in addition to major holidays.
