Qualifications
5+ plus years of working experience in Web Development
3+ years of working experience in WordPress development (multisite, configuration, parent/child themes, plugins, Gutenberg)
Expert at writing PHP (object-oriented, dependency injection, etc)
Experienced with WordPress Full Site Editing (FSE)/Block-Based theme development
Solid understanding of and commitment to web standards, including web accessibility standards (WCAG)
Familiar with important WordPress security concepts
Familiarity with package managers for PHP (Composer) and JS (NPM/Yarn)
Familiarity with PSR specifications
Previous working experience with Code versioning and code review
Previous working experience with Docker, Git, and dependency management via Composer
Optimizing sites for performance
Interacting with REST API/ GraphQL
Manage and sustain multiple projects at once while working cross-functionally across business and IT teams

Responsibilities
Development/Deployment of enterprise-level WordPress plugins and themes
Collaborating with developers from other teams to create modular, extensible PHP and JS solutions (plugins, packages, blocks, and components) for reuse across projects
Converting project requirements into proposals for implementation (estimating time/resources, planning tasks/timeline, etc)
Platform/multisite maintenance and optimization
Code Reviews and Feedback
Mentor junior developers and lead community of practitioners/developers
Work planning and issue management
Local Development Environment Setup/Configuration
Documentation and Coding Standards
Theme and Plugin Security
Comfortable wearing many hats and willing to work on all parts of the stack
