Full Time WordPress Developer

We’re looking for a WordPress Developer as an early-stage member to our team. You’ll be empowered with autonomy, accountability, and whoever tools you need to help ship amazing features and build the best possible shopping experience.

Organic Basics is born online. We are a vertically-integrated, direct-to-consumer brand. That’s also why our online presence and experience means the world to us.

What you’ll do:

  • Build and improve the shopping experience for a fast-growing, disruptive e-commerce company
  • Work closely with the founding partners (marketing and product development) to define new features and build new flows, paths, landing pages, navigation and overall e-commerce functionality.
  • Execute a high-quality user experience and brand identity
  • Help scale out architecture and improve site performance
  • Work with our Digital Marketing team to initiate A/B tests on new features
  • Become a lead in how to scale and rebuild our new ecommerce platform.
  • You will be working closely with our Digital Marketing team to enhance our online presence.

Who you are:

  • An engineer with +2 years of professional programming experience
  • An admirer of beautiful code – you are extremely well structured
  • A quick learner with a passion for solving problems and proposing elegant solutions.
  • Equipped with impressive programming and web application development skills
  • Self-motivated, results driven engineer who is passionate about collaboration as well as being able to work independently and responsibly

You will in this position become an essential brick of improving and optimizing our company’s online presence together with the founding team. An ideal candidate will have previous experience working with WordPress / WooCommerce, and coding with: MySQL, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and several APIs.

This is a full-time job position. Work will be from our office in Aarhus or Copenhagen.
